Cyclops

Planktonic freshwater crustacean of the group of copépods, with a length of the order of 1 mm with a single median eye. The larvae (nauplies) and young stadiums are foods of choice for fry.

The term "cyclops" is used in the field of aquarophilia to designate a fishing fish with a single pair of caudal fins, instead of the usual two pairs. So we're talking about cyclops and cyclops fish-angles.

Cyclops Anges-Anges are generally mutant anti-angels that have been created in the laboratory. They are often considered curiosities in the aquarophilia and are generally sold at higher prices than normal angel fish.

It is important to note that Cyclops Anges-Anges may present health and mobility problems due to their single caudal fin. They may find it difficult to move and eat properly and can be more sensitive to diseases and infections.

Despite this, many aquariophiles buy cyclops anti-angels because of their unique appearance and their often calmer and easier to maintain than normal angel fish.

It is important to ensure that cyclops arenhays are well treated and nourished and that they have a habitat adapted to their needs. If you want to add a Cyclops Angel Fish to your aquarium, it is recommended to consult a veterinarian specializing in fish to make sure you take care of your fish in the best possible way.

In general, it is advisable to beginner aquariophiles to stick to normal angel fish and to leave cyclops angles to experienced aquariophiles which are able to take care of fish with special needs.
