Description
A cousin of the Ablette but, not really like. It has a terminal mouth, it has green, yellow or blue reflections depending on the lighting angles. The base bases are red.
The Bipunctus Alburnoides, commonly known as a two -point roach, is a freshwater fish from the Cyprinidae family. It generally measures between 7 and 10 centimeters long, although some specimens can reach a size of 12 centimeters. The two -point garden body is lying and compressed laterally, with a pointed head and a protractile mouth. Its color generally varies between gray and brown, with two blackheads located on the upper part of the dorsal fin.
The two -point roach lives mainly in slow streams and rivers, where it feeds on small insects, larvae and crustaceans. It is generally considered to be a common fish and can be found in many regions of Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. The two -point roach is also considered an excellent sports fish, and is often used as a prey by fishermen on the line.
The two -point roach is an oviparous fish, which means that he lays eggs rather than giving birth to alive young people. The female can lay up to 1000 eggs at a time, which are fertilized by the male and attached to submerged objects such as plants or pebbles. The eggs generally hatch after a few days, and young guard at two points are able to eat and move from birth.
Due to its presence in many places and its ability to reproduce quickly, the two -point roach is generally considered as an unreasoned species. However, as is the case for many freshwater fish, it can be threatened by pollution, changes in habitat and unsustainable fishing practices. In general, the two -point Gardon is considered a useful fish for the balance of aquatic ecosystems and is well suited to life in a natural environment.
