Anisotremus virginicus (Pork)

The Anisotremus Virginicus fish, also known as porc-spic fish, is a sea back fish that lives in the warm and shallow waters of the coastal regions of the Americas. It is a small fish, generally measuring between 10 and 15 cm in length, although some individuals can reach a length of 20 cm. The body of porcepal fish is elongated and compressed laterally, which gives it a flattened shape and allows it to easily slip into small spaces between the rocks and the corals.

Porcepal fish has a variable coloring depending on its habitat and age. Young individuals generally have a gray or brown dress with darker vertical stripes, while adult fish have a more uniform dress and can be gray, brown, green or even pink.
