This very pretty fish has longitudinal blue scratches on orange background, on the upper two -thirds of the body. The belly has a white coloring.

Aspisurus Lineatus is a fish belonging to the Scorpaenidae family, which also includes other known fish under the name of Scorpions fish. This fish is characterized by its elongated and slender shape, with a slim body and a pointed head. Its color generally varies between brown, gray and green, with dark longitudinal lines which run along its body and give it its scientific name, Aspisurus Lineatus, which means "spine with lines".

Aspisurus lineatus fish is mainly found in tropical and subtropical waters of the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, although it can also be found in certain parts of the Atlantic Ocean. It feeds mainly on small fish and crustaceans, which it captures using its pointed teeth and its powerful jaws.

Due to its relatively small size, aspisurus lineatus fish generally does not represent a threat to humans. However, like all score fish, he has poisonous thorns on his pectoral fins and on his head, which can cause acute pain and swelling if they come into contact with a human skin. Therefore, it is important to handle this fish carefully and not touch it with bare hands.

Aspisurus lineatus fish is generally a lonely fish, although it can sometimes be found in small groups. It tends to move slowly and hide in crevices and cavities of coral reefs, where it can protect itself from predators. Unfortunately, like many marine species, the fish aspisurus lineatus is threatened by human activities, in particular by the destruction of coral reefs and excessive fishing. Therefore, it is important to take measures to protect this species and its natural habitat.
