Astatolipalia burtoni (Burton)

Robust, blue and iridescent yellow body.

The Astatolipalia Burtoni fish is a relatively small sea fish, generally measuring between 6 and 8 centimeters in length. It belongs to the Blennidae family and is from the coastal waters of the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea.

The body of the astatolipalia burtoni fish is elongated and covered with smooth scales. Its color varies from gray to dark brown, with lighter spots on the sides. The head of the fish is wide and flat, with two large pairs of pectoral fins which allow it to propel itself into the water. The caudal fin is rounded and often tinged with red.

Astatolipalia Burtoni fish is a gregarious animal and it is often found in groups in the shallow waters of coral reefs. It feeds mainly on small crustaceans and plankton, which it captures using its small sharp teeth. Astatolipalia Burtoni fish is also known for its ability to change color according to its environment, which allows it to camouflage itself and protect itself from predators.

Despite its relatively small size, the astatolipalia burtoni fish is considered an important predator in reef ecosystems. It plays a key role in the regulation of populations of other species of fish and crustaceans, and is therefore an important element of marine biodiversity. However, like many marine species, astatolipalia burtoni fish is threatened by human activities, including fishing and destruction of coral reefs.
