The Betta Splendens Crowntail is a tropical fish from stagnant and shallow waters of the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. It is a popular aquarophilia fish because of its beautiful color and its crown -shaped fins, hence its name. The Betta Crowntail has a variable color dress, ranging from red to blue through green, yellow and black. Males have longer and more spectacular fins than those of females, and they are often more colorful. The Betta Crowntail can measure up to 6 cm in length and live up to 3 years in captivity if it is well maintained.

This fish is generally peaceful and can coexist with other species of fish, but it is known to be territorial and aggressive towards other males of its species. For this reason, it is recommended not to put them together in the same aquarium, unless the aquarium is large enough to allow them to move away from each other. Betta Crowntail needs a well -equipped aquarium with a filter to maintain clean and oxygenated water, as well as plants and hiding places to hide and feel safe.

Regarding food, the Betta Crowntail is mainly nourished by small crustaceans and insects in the wild, but it can be nourished with foods designed for aquarium fish in captivity. It is important to give it a balanced and varied diet to maintain your health and its bright color. Betta Crowntail is an easy -to -maintain fish and it can be a fascinating pet for aquarophilia lovers.
