Coryphoblennius Galerita fish is a seafish commonly known as helmeted Blennie. He is from the coasts of the Northeast Atlantic, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, where he lives in shallow waters and rocky areas.

Coryphoblennius Galerita is a relatively small fish, generally measuring between 5 and 10 centimeters in length. It has an elongated and flat body, with well developed back and pelvic fins. Its color varies from gray to dark brown, with irregular spots and vertical stripes on the sides. Its head is characteristic, with a kind of thick helmet and bumpled on top.

Coryphoblennius Galerita feeds mainly on small crustaceans and molluscs which he finds in algae and rocks. He is often seen looking for the seabed with his mouth to find food. He is also able to change color to adapt to his environment and camouflage himself.

The helmeted blennie is a territorial and lonely fish, which generally lives alone or in a couple in crevices and caves in the rocks. During the breeding period, males become more aggressive and defend their territory against other fish. The female lays her eggs in rocky cavities, and the male takes care of protecting them until they hatch.

Due to its small size and its territorial behavior, Coryphoblennius Galerita is generally not considered a edible species. It is rather appreciated by aquarophilia enthusiasts for its color and unique behavior. However, it is important to note that this species is protected in certain regions because of its declining population.
