Description
The Hemigrammus caudovittatus is a fish from the Characidae family, originally from the fresh waters of South America. It is a small Characin type fish, which measures about 3 centimeters in length once adult. It has an elongated and laterally compressed body, with a caudal bifide fin and a short and rounded dorsal fin. The Hemigrammus caudovittatus has a gray-green color on the top, with a black band that crosses its body just under the dorsal fin. Its lower part is white, with black spots on the sides.
