Heniochus acuminatus (Tick)
Description
The Heniochus acuminatus fish is a fish from the family of the chaetodontidae, known as the common name of "black spots with black spots". It is a very colorful fish, with a yellow head and a body marked with colors ranging from white to gray and black. It has long dorsal and anal fins, as well as a long caudal fin, which gives it a graceful and elegant appearance while swimming.
The Heniochus acuminatus fish is native to the warm and shallow waters of the coral reefs of the Indian Ocean and the Pacific, where it is mainly feeding on plankton and small invertebrates. It is generally lonely and can be found peacefully floating in currents, using its caudal fin to propel itself slowly.
Heniochus acuminatus fish is a gregarious fish, which means that it likes to live in a group with other fish from its species. This can be useful to protect it from predators, but it can also cause problems for aquariophiles who wish to raise it in captivity. Indeed, if a single Heniochus acuminatus fish is maintained in an aquarium, it can become stressed and sick, and it is therefore preferable to offer him a space large enough for him to live in a group.
