Description

Labeo Erythrurus is a freshwater fish from sub -Saharan Africa. It measures approximately 20 centimeters long and has an elongated and graceful shape. Its color varies from silver gray to dark brown on top, with a white strip that crosses its head and body. The lower part of his body is pale or white yellow. Labeo Erythrurus is a lonely fish that lives in the shallow waters of rivers, lakes and marshes. It feeds mainly on plants and small insects which he finds in algae and aquatic herbaria.

Labeo Erythrurus is a gregarious fish and can be found in groups in calm and shallow waters. It is often active during the day and rests at night at the bottom of the water. Labeo Erythrurus can be easily recognizable thanks to its white band which crosses its head and its body. This white band is unique to each individual and can be used to identify them.

Labeo Erythrurus is a peaceful and non -aggressive fish, making it a good addition to a community aquarium. However, it is important to ensure that the aquarium is large enough to accommodate a group of Labeo Erythrurus and that it contains plants and caches to allow them to hide and feel safe. Due to their lonely lifestyle, it is recommended not to keep them too many in the same aquarium.

Labeo Erythrurus is a robust fish and can be easily kept in aquarium with a little care and attention. They need a well -filtered aquarium and good water quality to stay healthy. They can also benefit from a varied diet including fish pellets, living or frozen foods and raw vegetables. It is important not to overcome the Labeo Erythrurus and regularly clean the aquarium to avoid overcrowding of harmful bacteria.
