Description
The Lethenteron Zanandreai is a freshwater fish which is mainly found in rivers and streams in northern Italy. It is a small fish, generally measuring between 10 and 15 centimeters long. Its color varies from silver gray to dark brown, with a dark strip along the side line. The Lethenteron Zanandreai is a carnivorous fish that feeds mainly on insects, larvae and small fish.
The Lethenteron Zanandreai is a very adaptable fish capable of moving in shallow waters as well as in rocky and sandy environments. It has a large reproduction capacity, and can produce up to 1000 eggs per year. However, the population of Lethenon Zanandreai has decreased in recent years due to water pollution and competition with other fish species.
The Lethenteron Zanandreai is considered a fish threatened with extinction, and is protected by law in Italy.
