Description

Lateralis Mimagoniets is a fish from the Characidae family, originally from rivers and streams in Central and South America. He is commonly called the "lateral tetrodon" because of his resemblance to the tetrodon, another fish from the same family. Lateralis Mimagonians is characterized by its iridescent blue-green coloring on top and white on the belly, as well as by its elongated and slender shape. Its tail is sophisticated and its fins are transparent.

Lateralis Mimagoniates can reach a length of approximately 10 centimeters, although adult specimens generally have a smaller size. It has a mainly herbivorous diet, but can also consume small insects and crustaceans. Lateralis Mimagoniates is generally a peaceful fish and can be maintained in community aquarium with other peaceful fish.

Lateralis Mimagoniates is often considered a medium to small fish, but it can be difficult to maintain in aquarium due to its water parameters. It needs a medium or large aquarium with fresh water and a slightly acidic neutral pH. It also needs good filtration of water and good traffic.
