The Potamotrygon Leopoldi fish is a fishing fish from the Potamotrygonidae family, originally from the fresh waters of South America. It is also known as the Rio Xingú Rio Fish.

He has a round and flattened body, with a very wide caudal fin which allows him to move quickly in the water. His skin is covered with small smooth and shiny scales, and it is generally of a beautiful dark brown to black, with white or yellow spots distributed all over the body.

The Potamotrygon Leopoldi feeds mainly on small fish and crustaceans, which it captures using its sharp and sharp teeth. He is also able to feed on aquatic plants and algae, making it an omnivorous fish.
