Description

The pseudanos gracilis is a fish that belongs to the family of the pseudochromidae. He is also known as "toad-poisson". It is a freshwater fish that lives in the rivers and the lakes of the tropical regions of South America.

The pseudanos gracilis has an elongated and fine body, with smooth and shiny scales. Its color varies from dark green to gray-blue, with black spots on the back and sides. The toad-poison has round and globular eyes which give it a cute and fun appearance. Its mouth is small and located below the body, which allows it to easily capture small invertebrates and insect larvae which it finds at the bottom of the waters.

The pseudanos gracilis is a lonely and fearful fish, which spends most of its time hidden in herbs and floating leaves.
