Description

Symphysodon fish aequifasciatus axelrodi is a freshwater fish native to the waters of the Amazon basin in South America. It is a popular aquarophilia fish, especially for beginners. We also know him under the name of Axelrod fish fish.

This fish has an oval shape and a bright blue color with yellow spots along its sides. Its tail is forked and has a shape in a fan. The mouth of the Axelrod fish-fisherman is small and fitted with conical teeth which allow it to nibble on algae and aquatic plants.

Axelrod is a peaceful fish and can be kept in a group in an aquarium, although it is preferable to maintain it with fish of similar size. They need a large aquarium to swim and move, with adequate filtration and ventilation. They are also sensitive to water which is too hot or too cold, so it is important to maintain a stable temperature in the aquarium.

Axelrod's perception fish needs a varied diet, including living or frozen foods, flocons or tablets, and aquatic plants. They also need many places to hide and rest, such as roots, rocks, and pots in pots.
