The Acanthurus Sohal fish, also known as Sohal-Docus Fish, is a tropical marine fish that belongs to the Acanthuridae family. It measures approximately 30 centimeters long and has a distinctive characteristic in the shape of a cemeterre on each side of its tail. Acanthurus Sohal fish is mainly silver gray in color with dark strips that run along its body. He also has yellow and blue spots on his fins and his head.

The Acanthurus Sohal fish lives in coral reefs of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, mainly around the Reunion Islands and the Maldives. It feeds mainly on algae which he nibbles with his cemeterous teeth. Due to its voracity, Acanthurus Sohal fish can easily destroy coral reefs if it is present in large quantities in a given region.

Acanthurus Sohal fish is a lonely fish, but it can sometimes be seen in groups when it feeds. It is also known to be very aggressive towards other fish and intruders in its territory. If another fish approaches too close to its personal space, the Acanthurus Sohal fish can use its cemeterous teeth to threaten or injure it.

Acanthurus Sohal fish is also known for its ability to change color according to its mood. When he is calm and relaxed, he tends to be silver gray in color. However, when he feels threatened or aggressive, he can become darker and even bright red.

Due to its beautiful color and its unique personality, Acanthurus Sohal fish is often sought after by aquarophilia lovers.
