Description

The Belonophago Tinanti fish is a freshwater fish that lives mainly in the shallow and not very common waters of rivers and streams in South America. It is characterized by its metallic gray color and its elongated shape with a pointed head and protruding eyes. Its average size is around 20 centimeters, although some individuals can reach up to 30 centimeters.

The Belonophago Tinanti fish is an opportunistic predator that feeds mainly on small crustaceans, insects and smaller fish. He is able to jump out of the water to catch prey that is on the shore, which allows him to broaden his food range. He also has sharp teeth and powerful jaws that allow him to shred his prey.

The Belonophago Tinanti fish is generally lonely and territorial, although it can form small groups during the breeding period. Reproduction takes place in summer, when the males build nests by almorous pebbles and plants in which they deposit their eggs. The eggs hatch about a week later and the fry are protected and fed by males until they are able to fend for themselves.

The Belonophago Tinanti fish is a popular fish with aquariophiles because of its attractive color and its gregarious personality.
