The Bodianus Anthioides, also known as the Anthioid Christianfish, is a fish from the Labridae family. It is a salt water fish which is generally found in tropical waters of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

The Bodianus Anthioides is a fairly imposing fish, generally reaching a length of 30 centimeters. Its color varies from gray to dark blue, with white and yellow stripes on the side of the body. It has two dorsal fins, one being larger than the other, as well as an anal fin and a caudal bifide fin, which gives it an imposing look. The Bodianus Anthioides is often confused with other Fish-surgeons of the Labridae family because of its general resemblance.

The Bodianus Anthioides is a gregarious fish which is generally in groups in the shallow waters of coral reefs. It feeds mainly on small crustaceans and invertebrates which it finds in the sand or on the corals. The Bodianus Anthioides is also known to feed on the dead skin of other fish, which has earned it its shirk fishing.

The Bodianus Anthioides is a fairly common fish in tropical regions, although it is not very common in aquariums because of its imposing size.
