Description

It is orange with black stripes placed vertically all over the body. He has a terminal mouth that looks like a beak like the poison fish.

Centropyge Loriculus is a fish from the Pomacanthidae family, commonly known as golden-headed angel. He is native to the islands of the Pacific Ocean, where he generally lives around coral reefs at depths of up to 30 meters.

Centropyge Loriculus has a rounded shape and a pointed dorsal fin. Its color varies from golden yellow to bright orange, with brown spots on the belly and fins. Its head is covered with small black dots, which gives it a distinctive appearance.

Golden head fishing is about 12 cm in length and is generally peaceful and sociable, making it an excellent option for community aquariums. However, it can become territorial towards other angels and can be aggressive towards smaller or lower fish.

Centropyge Lorricus feeds mainly on soft corals and crabs, but it can also eat algae and molluscs. In captivity, it can be nourished with pellets for angels and frozen foods such as mysids and frozen shrimp.

Due to its beauty and cheerful personality, angée-angée with golden head is a popular choice for aquariophiles. However, it is important to provide adequate habitat and appropriate care to guarantee the health and well-being of this animal. This includes a sufficient aquarium with a good filtration system, rocks and corals to offer shelters and scratch surfaces, as well as a varied and balanced diet.
