The chaetodontoplus mesoleucus is an imposing fish, up to a length of 30 cm. It has an elongated and side compressed body, with a wide head and long and fine pectoral fins. Its color is generally gray-blue with black and white spots on the body and fins, and black vertical lines on the sides. The chaetodontoplus mesoleucus is a popular fish in the aquarophilia, due to its bright color and its gregarious behavior.
