The Altotlis Cromilepts fish, also known as blue-dots or giant-papillon fish, is a saltwater fish belonging to the Pomaccentridae family. He is from coral reefs of the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, where he is mainly in warm and shallow waters.

The blue-dot-dot fish has an elongated and rounded shape, with a wide head and a protractile mouth. His skin is covered with smooth and silver scales, with distinctive blue spots on the body and fins. The blue dots-souple also has a thorny dorsal fin, an anal fin and a long and forked caudal fin.

The blue-dot-dot-point fish can reach a length of 40 centimeters, although most individuals measure approximately 25 centimeters. It feeds mainly on small crustaceans and invertebrates which it captures by hunting in coral reefs.
