Mylossoma duriventre (Pacou-Meule, silver myleus)
Description
Mylossoma Duriventre is a freshwater fish belonging to the SerrasalMidae family. It is from the rivers and rivers of South America, mainly in the tropical and subtropical regions of the region.
This fish has an elongated and lateral compressed shape, with a wide head and a protractile mouth. Its coloring varies from light to dark gray on the back, with lighter sides and a white lower part. The fins are generally gray or brown with points and strip patterns.
Mylossoma Duriventre can reach a maximum length of about 25 centimeters, although most specimens do not exceed 20 centimeters. The males are generally larger and more colored than females, and also have more developed fins.
