Description

Nannocharax procatopus fish is a freshwater fish from West Africa. It measures about 6 centimeters in length and has a dark brown color with lighter spots on the body. Its head is relatively small and rounded, with large dorsal and pelvic fins which allow it to easily propel itself in water. Nannocharax procatopus is a gregarious fish, which means that it lives in groups with other individuals of its species. It feeds mainly on small insects and algae which he finds in his natural habitat, which is mainly the shallow waters of the rivers and lakes of West Africa.
