Description

The general aspect looks like a caterpillar. The body is elongated and at the end lined with whitish "bristles". Be careful, they are stinging. The dominant colors are the yellow-brown, the orange and a few touches of red. It has a rather nocturnal activity.

Eurythoe sp. is a marine invertebrate belonging to the amphinomidae family, also known as the fire worm. This animal measures about 10 cm long and has a long and thin body covered with eyelashes which allow it to move quickly while waving.
