Ammania senegalensis
Description
This erect and graceful species constitutes a strong point in the decoration of an aquarium. Its leaves are opposite, sessile, lanceolate, of an olive green to reddish. Their edges are wrapped towards the underside and their end is turned down. This demanding plant is not very suitable for hard water. Need average to high light, so need to have a completely clear place. Do not cultivate swimming plants in the same container.
Ammania Senegalensis is an aquarium plant with deciduous leaves from West Africa. It has fine and flexible stems with dark green leaves in the shape of a rhombus. The leaves can reach up to 6 cm long and are arranged alternately on the stems.
This plant needs a lot of light to develop properly and prosper in an aquarium.
