Description

Cryptocoryne Beckettii is an aquarium plant commonly known as beckett crypt or beckett crypt. It is a herbaceous plant with heart -shaped leaves with a heart -shaped texture that grows underwater in freshwater aquariums. It has short and thick stems with long and narrow leaves which can measure up to 12 cm long and 3 cm wide. The color of the leaves varies from dark green to reddish brown depending on the amount of light received. Cryptocoryne Beckettii flowers by producing spathe -shaped inflorescences that can be white, cream or pale pink. The plant can be cultivated in a nutritive substrate or planted in aquarium substrate soil. It prefers moderate to intense lighting and moderately acidic with neutral pH water. Cryptocoryne Beckettii is a robust and easy -to -maintain plant, ideal for beginners in aquarophilia.
