Description

Particularly robust plant. Easily adapts. It has an important crawling rhizome from which petiolate leaves develop. Must be introduced into a spacious aquarium where the depth of the water will be important.

Cryptocoryne useriana is a common aquarium plant that belongs to the Araceae family. It is characterized by elongated heart -shaped leaves, which can measure up to 15 cm long and 4 cm wide. The leaves are dark green and have thick and visible ribs. The plant also produces green flowers which can be seen on the surface of the water during the flowering period. Cryptocoryne USTERiana prefers a freshwater pool environment with a substrate rich in nutrients and moderate lighting. It is easily reproduced by producing seedlings from its rhizomes.
