Echinodorus angustifolius

Echinodorus angustifolius

Description

It has long thin leaves that can resemble the foliage of Vallisnera or Sagittaria with adult size. Useful for full plan or background sets and around the aquarium. It is very little demanding even if good lighting and an iron intake will help its growth.

Echinodorus Angustifolius is an aquarium plant commonly called "spine-de-mer with narrow leaves". It is a robust and adaptable plant that can be easily cultivated in most aquariums. Its leaves are dark and elongated green, with serrated edges. The roots of the plant are solid and well developed, which allows it to take root easily in the aquarium substrate. The plant can reach a height of 30 to 40 cm and a width of 20 to 30 cm when it is cultivated in good conditions. It is often used as a background plant in aquariums because it can add depth and texture to the aquatic environment.
