Description

The Echinodorus Harbig is an aquarium plant with wide and round leaves, generally dark green. Its robust and thick stems can reach up to 30 cm high and are covered with small thorns. Its powerful and thick roots extend to the bottom of the aquarium for maximum stability.

It flowers in summer with white or pink flowers that attract pollinating insects. It can be easily reproduced by division of stems or by the formation of new plants from its roots.

The Echinodorus Harbig needs a lot of light and a soil rich in nutrients to develop properly. It is adapted to most aquarium conditions and can coexist with other plants and fish.
