Myriophyllum mattogrossense
Description
This species is characterized by its rod and its brownish leaves with rusty red. The leaves are verticed by 5 to 7. The 4-5 cm long limb is made up of 10-12 pairs of filiform segments measuring 0.5-2 cm long. As with all finely cut leafy plants, a deposit of all kinds is to be avoided on the leaves, hence the need to filter the water well. Sufficient brightness, relatively high hardness of water and iron intake, are the conditions necessary for good growth. The growth is rapid and when ultimately the plant swims on the surface of the water, it produces many side filaments.
