Description

This crab is quite small, it has the legs is the red pliers. This little invertebrate likes to have hiding places. He likes plants he can cut bits of plants.

The rainbow crab is a crustacean of the grapsidae family. It measures about 6 cm long and has a rounded and smooth shell of dark brown color with multicolored rainbow strips, hence its name. Its legs and pliers are also colored in different shades.

The rainbow crab lives mainly in the shallow waters of coral reefs of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It feeds on molluscs, crustaceans and algae.
