Description

Originally transparent, this shrimp can take beautiful white marbers. Detrivorous, it feeds without stopping organic and plant debris, which makes it a very good auxiliary of the aquariophile. She can live in tropical aquarium with other fish. That said, you must avoid putting soil cleaners because it could deprive them of food by eating the bottom pastilles, or by damaging the small washers. This rather nocturnal shrimp, appreciates many hiding places and will not show aggressiveness towards the fish if its vital space is quite spacious.

Atyaephyra Desmarestii is a medium -sized crustacean, generally measuring between 5 and 7 cm long. It has a dark brown shell covered with short and thick hairs, with yellow or white transverse strips on the sides and back. Its head is wide and rounded, with red eyes and strong and pointed mandibles.
