Description

The bearded nigrofasciatus is a freshwater fish from West Africa. It is also known as black and white tetra fish due to its distinctive coloring. The body of the nigrofasciatus bearded man is elongated and flattened laterally, which allows him to sneak into narrow spaces and to easily hide in plants and roots. Its skin is covered with smooth and shiny scales, and its color varies from cream to dark gray with black bands running along its body.

Nigrofasciatus bearded ones have pectoral and pelvic fins which allow them to propel themselves into the water. They also have bifurcated caudal fins which allow them to change direction quickly and easily maneuver in their aquatic environment. Males generally have larger and more colorful fins than females, which makes them more attractive for females during breeding.

The bearded nigrofasciatus is an omnivorous fish that feeds mainly on small crustaceans, worms and aquatic plants. They are able to adapt to different food conditions, which allows them to survive in various aquatic environments. They are generally active during the day and feed mainly on the surface of the water.

Le Barbus Nigrofasciatus is a gregarious fish that lives in a group and tends to move in benches.
