Leporinus Wolfei is a freshwater fish from South America. He is notably present in the rivers of the Amazon region in Brazil. The Leporinus Wolfei has an elongated body and flattened laterally, which gives it a spindle shape. Its color is generally gray-greenish with irregular black spots on the body and fins. The size of the Leporinus Wolfei can reach up to 15 centimeters long.

Leporinus Wolfei is a gregarious fish that tends to live in a group in the shallow waters of rivers and lakes. It is omnivorous and feeds mainly on small crustaceans, insects and aquatic plants. The Leporinus Wolfei is also known to be a very active and lively fish, with a strong swimming capacity.

Leporinus Wolfei is an easy aquarium reproduction fish. Females can lay up to 500 eggs at a time, which generally hatch in one to two weeks. Young fish are very sensitive to diseases and parasites, so it is important to maintain the clean and well-maintained aquarium for their well-being.
