The Caudimaculata Rasbora is a freshwater fish native to the tropical regions of Asia. It is also known as Rasbora with tail stains or heterospilote rasbora. The Caudimaculata Rasbora has an elongated body and laterally compressed, with a generally silver or greyish color. He has a dark strip along his side line, which leaves from the head and continues to the tail. The tail itself is dotted with black spots, hence the name of tail stains.

In terms of size, the Caudimaculata Rasbora can reach about 5 centimeters in length, although most individuals measure approximately 3 to 4 centimeters. The Caudimaculata Rasbora is a gregarious fish, which means that it tends to live in groups. These groups can count up to several dozen individuals, and it is recommended to maintain at least six rasbora caudimaculata together in an aquarium for their well-being.

The Caudimaculata Rasbora is an omnivorous fish, which means that it feeds on both plants and small animals. In nature, it is mainly feeding on plankton, crustaceans and insects. In an aquarium, it can be nourished with flakes or pellets for fish, frozen or lively foods, as well as freshwater vegetables.
