Description

Viole-blue in pale, it is transparent. It is devoid of skeleton, brain, lungs and blood, but it has a network of nerve cells, as well as a breathing system based on gas exchanges through the skin. A shadow resembling a mushroom hat shelters 8 stinging tentacles.

Pelagia Noctiluca is a marine invertebrate belonging to the Physaliidae family. This animal is commonly called Pelagia jellyfish because of its resemblance to jellyfish. It measures approximately 20 centimeters in diameter and has a funnel -shaped body, with a lower part larger than the upper part. He has long and fine tentacles which allow him to capture his prey.
