Description

Crinum Natans is a perennial aquatic plant belonging to the amaryllidaceae family. It measures approximately 30-40 cm in height with wide, green and smooth leaves, up to 30 cm in length. The leaves are arranged in rosette and float on the surface of the water.

The plant produces white or pale pink flowers, with bell -shaped petals and yellow stamens. Flowers generally appear in summer and can stay in bloom for several weeks.

Crinum Natans prefers a sunny aquarium medium with a nutritive substrate and fresh water. It is suitable for hot water aquariums and can tolerate temperatures up to 28 degrees Celsius. It is also easy to grow and can be spread from cuttings or rhizomes.
