Description

This large Echinodorus is apparently similar to E. Amazonicus and E. Bleheri, although the leaves will grow much wider and slightly crumpled on the edge. An ideal plant for unique use in large aquariums. Requires a fine substrate, rich in iron and room to grow.

Echinodorus Major is a large aquarium plant, easily reaching a height of 50 cm. It has wide, dark green and shiny leaves, with wavy edges and red streaks which give it a distinctive appearance. Its stems are thick and robust, with solid and well -developed roots which allow it to stand firmly in the ground.
