Description

The Pteropus microsorium, also known as Java Fern, is a common aquarium plant that belongs to the Polypodiaceae family. It is a large and green leaf plant, which can reach a height of 30 cm and a width of 20 cm in aquarium. The leaves are smooth and shiny, with thick ribs that branch in the shape of a fan. This plant has rhizomes which extend horizontally below the surface of the soil and can be used to fix the plant to a support or a rock.
