Description

Originally green shrimp, it can become brunette, orange or reddish. Its diet consists of algae, remains of plants as well as mosquito larvae.

Caridina Babaulti is a crustacean belonging to the Atyidae family. It is from New Caledonia and measures approximately 2.5 cm long. Caridina Babaulti is generally white or transparent in color, with dark strips on the chest and legs. It has short antennas and legs finished by pliers. Caridina Babaulti is an omnivorous crustacean which feeds mainly on plants and algae, but can also consume small animals.
