Description

Brown brown shrimp, with a wide strip of beige color on the length of its back. Its previous limbs are provided with fans, in order to filter water to find food particles. This species devoid of pliers, filters water using its fans in order to trap food particles, or waste as it is suspended in water. Detrivor, she will not hesitate to look for her diet on the substrate or in the filter. These are gregarious shrimps that love to come together against each other.

The Moluccensis atyopsis crustacean is an animal that belongs to the order of the Cambaridae, a family of freshwater crustaceans known under the name of white leg crab or cuddly crab. It is a medium -sized crustacean, generally measuring between 4 and 6 centimeters long. Its shell is generally light brown to gray, with darker spots, and its legs are white.

The cuddly crab is from the rivers and the ponds of Southeast Asia, where it lives in shallow and muddy waters. It feeds mainly on plants and algae, but it can also eat insects and small fish. Cittle crab is a night animal, which spends the day hidden in the mud or under rocks, and which goes out at night to eat.

Dimorphism
