Procambarus alleni (Blue breakfast)

Very easily adapts to all circles, is suitable for a community bac. It is blue 2 days after swimming and the rest definitively. In the natural environment she likes to hide under various surface covers (wood, rock, plants). As a rule does not attack either the fish or the plants, unless it feels attacked. Food accepts all kinds of flocks for fish, small snails, algae, verse, same dead fish.

The Procambarus Alleni is a crustacean belonging to the Cambaridae family. It is commonly called Louisiana crab or red tail crab, due to the bright red color of its tail.

The female has the pliers smaller than the male.

The eggs appear under the abdomen 5 to 8 days after childbirth. The female hides during incubation about 3 to 4 weeks.
