Description

Many long, fine and acute thorns, all black but sometimes gray or white. In all types of habitats. Hides the day in shelters. Feeds on algae during the night. The thorns pierce and breaks easily in the skin causing painful injuries. The thorns driven dissolve in a few days.

The Antillarum Diadema is an inverted marine animal belonging to the class of echinoderms.
