Description

Aplati oral disc decorated with wart tentacles with forked extensions. Fine tentacles on the external edges. General green color but with bluish tones. A little translucent.

Discosoma sanctihomae is a marine invertebrate belonging to the family of activids. It is a bright red sea anemone, with long and fine tentacles. Its size generally varies between 5 and 15 cm in diameter.

Discosoma sanctihomae lives in coral reefs of tropical and subtropical waters. It clings to hard surfaces such as rocks or corals and feeds mainly on plankton and other small invertebrates.
