The Decartyi aponogeton is an aquarium plant with wide and smooth leaves. It has thick and rigid stems which can reach up to 30 cm long. The leaves are dark green and measure about 15 cm long and 5 cm wide. The white flowers are small and appear in clusters at the end of the stems.
