The plant is known for its fine and arched leaves which flourish by forming a dense tuft. Its light green color makes it particularly attractive in aquariums. The Selaginella Widenowii can also be cultivated as an indoor plant, where it can be used to create natural sets and add a touch of greenery to an interior space.
