Hygrophila siamensis is an aquarium plant belonging to the Acanthaceae family. It is from Southeast Asia, notably Thailand and Cambodia. It is a fairly easy to grow in aquarium, which can reach a size of 20 to 40 cm high. It has narrow and elongated green leaves, which grow in tight tufts. The hygrophila siamensis likes shallow aquatic environments and good light, and it develops better in a substrate rich in nutrients. It is also known as Wisteria Siamensis or Limnophila Sessiliflora.
