Shinnersia rivularis

The Shinnersia Rivularis aquarium plant is a perennial aquatic plant with persistent leaves. It belongs to the Hydrocharitaceae family and is from South America.

The Shinnersia Rivularis is characterized by its large lanceolate and wavy green leaves 15 to 20 cm in length. Its floating upper easily reaches a height of 30 to 40 cm. The plant produces white star flowers at the end of summer.

It prefers a bright culture environment and needs a substrate rich in nutrients to develop properly.
