Physa marmorata
Description
Very small snail with brown shell (brown shades can vary from one snail to another). Breathing is done by lungs. They are usually very discreet in the aquarium. When they become invasive, the first solution is to reduce the amount of food given to fish. If this does not work, put a boiled lettuce sheet at the bottom of the aquarium for a few hours and remove it when the snails have stuck there. These snails feed on algae, remaining food and decay plants. They do not attack healthy plants.
The Physa Marmorata snail is a gastropod mollusc belonging to the physiidae family.
