Tridacna maxima (Bog)

Tridacna maxima (Bog)

Description

Bettles are big shells! Bettles are placed at the top of the bac. The calcium level in the tank must be maintained at more than 440mg/l. Several colors exist, an example electric blue (color of her dress!). Magnificent shell, the only drawback being its requirements with regard to water quality, as well as its large size! The tridacnes live in symbiosis with a microscopic algae (zooxanthelle) being in the coat, which gives it its blue-green color.
